大便问题 for breast feeding baby

You're always welcome Sally. It's good though to find a doctor who understands and supports BF. I don't think a 3.5mths old BF baby really needs to take 泻药...so you know what I mean? To be frank, if I'm you, I won't visit that previous doctor anymore la...haha...

Stella, many thanks for your prompt response and advice. I was quite concerned befoer so I just went to see a famous doctor in Central an hour ago. She said the same (but of course charge quite a bit of $$$). She mentioned some full BF babies may only poo poo 2 times in a month, as you have experienced.

It's quite common for less than 6 months fully BF babies not having regular poo poo or prolonged days to have poo poo. Mother milk is naturally and easily being digested and absorbed, which means possibly fully absorbed by babies themselves without remaining. Hence as long as you took sufficient liquid stuff or rich fiber in your daily diet, and your baby boy doesn't appear to have difficulty when poo-ing out, not to worry so much. My two boys record high was 10 days plus not having poo poo, and even after with good quality poo poo (soft texture, yellow to brown color)
