my baby is drinking too little
Dear April,
You are doing really GREAT! Your baby's weight gain is well above the basic guidline of around 1 pound per month. So he must be getting a lot of milk from you. If baby is getting 5-6 wet diapers, it is very good.
What troubles you may be the baby seems like refusing the breast after some sucking. And not to poo for some time. As what you are describing seems that you do have a good letdown, so the baby may not be able to drink as quick as your milk flows. This may make the baby refuse to nurse during a middle of the letdown.
If that is the case, it may be possible that you are a bit oversupply and your baby is taking a bit too much on the foremilk. So that decrease the number of poo.
If you find that this is true, then you can limit the feeding for one breast only, or same breast for a certain period of time. Express the other side a little bit just for comfort if needed. This is to cope with oversupply. Pumping will usually increase supply, so you may see if you really need to pump.

my baby girl is 35 days old. Her birth weight is 2.95kg. She was supplement with formula for a week after birth and then switched to breast feeding exclusively.
I pump once a day after she finish feeding and normally i get 3.5oz. but when i bottle feed her the expressed milk, she only takes 20z.
Also I find that my breasts still feel full after she finished feeding and she rarely takes the second breast. She would normally sucks for 7-15 min then withdraw and refuse to take the nipple again. Sometimes she does that in the middle of my second let down.
she is around 3.5kg now, is the weight gain ok? and she doesnt poo every day, sometimes once in 3 days.
How can I get her to drink more?
