Baby can be fussy at the breast for difference reasons. If he had an unhappy experience at the breast, he may refuse to co-operate. Sometimes we cannot know what had happen. For example, when he is at the breast and there was a loud noise that scares him, then he may associate the fear with the breast.

There are a number of ways that you can choose to do, such as:
- relaxation technique, eg, soft music, rocking, taking bath with baby
- skin to skin contact, wear only diaper and carry baby skin to skin, if possible do it for a long time to build up the feeling of secure and love

想到幾個可能：

1) 媽媽有沒有乳頭平垣或乳頭較短的問題 - 如有，阿b可能因此抗拒吸啜或覺得困難。
2) 媽媽坐月期間有沒有沖涼 - 如體味太大，阿b都有可能會抗拒埋身。
3) 餵左或右邊時情況都一樣 - 有時抱阿b的手勢都會影響的。

亦可試下用其他的姿勢餵下阿b，睇下有否改善，如用側臥方法，那太太又可以休息下。不過，如太太剛吃飽就不太好，對個胃no good的。

加油！家人的支持是很重要，同時，亦要多留意太太的情緒。

有時BB 扭眼訓或想人抱都會喊，唔一定係唔想食奶㗎。

Breast is BEST！

我唔肯定，會否因為 BB 肚餓，但唔係即刻食到奶，所以炆憎？我諗到兩個可能。

第一，要確保媽媽餵奶姿勢、BB 啜奶既口型正確。譬如，BB 個口要張得好大，好似打呵欠咁大，啜媽媽既乳暈（唔係乳頭）。BB 要打側身，正面向住媽媽，唔好扭住條頸。etc.　姿勢、口型正確，先至可以大口大口飲到奶。

第二，有Ｄ媽媽可能出奶較慢，即係每次都要 BB 啜一陣，先至開始有奶出。如果 BB 好餓，又心急，就會炆憎。解決方法：比 BB 埋身之前，先用手（或用泵）擠一陣，一見有奶出，即停，比 BB 埋身繼續啜。

We understand that so we never use the bottle.

Except Kwong Wah hospital provided the bottle and formula for the baby during new born because of crying at night.

We have asked 母嬰健康院 but the nurse looked very frustrated when helping my wife to feed the baby. And the way is just same as described on the booklet/guideline but no use.

We just not sure what's wrong with the way?

My wife looks very unpatient to the baby now.

Any advise is welcome.

bb都要時間學習吃人奶, 請給予他多一點耐性, 多一點温柔, 跟bb說要慢慢學習食奶. 另避免用奶瓶餵, bb很聰明的, 知道奶瓶不需用力便吃到奶, 便更加抗拒吸吮乳頭了, 且會因少吸吮乳頭而令媽媽的產量減少, 會造成惡性循環.
