The specific cause of developmental delay is unknown. You're already doing a good job because the sooner you get a diagnosis, the sooner you can begin connecting to developmental services and a medical plan if needed—and the better your child's progress will be.

Absolutely! It is very good of you to think about the elder one's immunity and nutrient!
Sometimes the older kid will resume breastfeeding after the younger one is born. But that may need a lot of skin to skin, holding, caring..... and patience before he will return to the breast. Pumping is another option but need to consider your work load and whether the older one will drink.
But if he do drink or breastfeeding, he will continue to get the good stuff from your milk, as well as the close contact and bonding. Also if you are breastfeeding/pumping for the older one, your supply will goes up and that means you can breastfeed for two at the same time. So eat well and rest well!

I just have a new baby who's 3 months now, and I've been breastfeeding him. I also have an older son who's 2 yr 3 months now, he was born prematurely and only got breastfed for around 2 months as my milk dried up.
My Question is, can I express some milk everyday to feed my older son maybe for once, to help with his immunity/ development? ( he has developmental delay)I feel so bad for him as the milk dried up just because I wasn't doing the right thing back then =(
